We are proud to be raising two kids on our land in Litchfield, MN along with a great diversity of vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, and a small amount of livestock. Our interest in farming stems from our love of food and eating well, our time teaching environmental education in Minnesota, California, and Argentina, combined with our time spent at our grandparents’ farms growing up. Our journey as farmers has broadened our desire to raise food in environmentally sound ways while promoting social justice and being part of a thriving community that values the land and people.
Prairie Drifter Farm is a diversified, organic vegetable farm serving the communities of Litchfield, Sartell, and St. Cloud, Minnesota through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) operation. Our organic certification is through Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA). Our farm is located in the transition zone between the prairie grasslands of western Minnesota and the deciduous forest of central Minnesota. Through our farming practices, we strive to continually build healthy and vibrant soils, increase habitat and forage for pollinators, and increase diversity on our farm landscape. Our farm is committed to social justice in our local community and the broader community.
