We were just contacted by the Emergency Foodshelf Network (EFN), asking us to participate in their Harvest for the Hungry (HFTH) program. We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with them as their work is directly in line with our mission at the farm. HTFH is a program that partners with CSA farms to provide fresh, locally grown produce to Minnesota families facing hunger. Through this program, CSA members and others can make donations designated to our farm in order to purchase produce from us that we will deliver to a local food shelf. Any designated funds raised by a CSA farm will be matched dollar for dollar with the HFTH match fund through EFN. You can check out the HFTH website or 2011 HFTH Brochure for more information. You are able to donate online, by phone, or by mail on their brochure. As we just connected with the program, our farm name is not listed on their current brochure but is on their website.
