Last night we had the opportunity to watch the solar eclipse out in the vegetable fields. Since we did not have any special equipment to watch the eclipse, we used the next best thing . . . Nick’s grandpa’s welding helmet. Nothing too fancy but we were able to watch the eclipse without hurting the eyes. The light cast upon the veggies was quite magical.
