Donations to the Member Fund help offset the cost of shares to families in need and help bring food directly to our local food shelves.
Over the years, many members have asked if they can donate to the farm for families in need. In past years, we have had an informal Member Fund to help offset part or all of the cost of a share for families in need. Last year, we also donated approximately 3000 pounds of food to the Meeker County Emergency Food Shelf and the Catholic Charities Food Shelf in St. Cloud. In 2020, we decided to formalize the Member Fund and include it as a donation option when you register for a CSA share.
The member fund is not tax-deductible.
